Delhi government has announced that all Delhi schools, colleges, govt offices, and markets will remain closed on Friday 17 August 2018 as a mark of rest to our former honorable prime minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He breathed his last at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Thursday 16 August 2018 at 5:05 PM.

Manish Sisodia the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi announced the news at Twitter this evening. He said that All Delhi govt offices, schools, and other institutions shall remain closed tomorrow (on Friday), as a mark of respect for our dear departed Sh Atal Ji.”
Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was in a serious condition due to his prolonged illness. He was hospitalized from 11 June 2018 and his condition became critical last evening that is 15 August 2018 at AIIMES.
The central government has recently declared that for continuous 7 days national mourning would be there in which the national flag would be flown at half mast.
